Numbers and timing chips will be issued at Registration on Race Day.
If you are unable to run. Transfers to someone else, change race to any of our races that are open for entries (paying the difference), withdrawals and refunds are available via the entry portal, subject to the refund policy. No deferrals.
Refund Policy: Up to 3months before 90%, up to 2weeks before 50%, less than 2weeks before 0%.
The official finish Time Limit is 3hours 15minutes (15min/mile pace). This is not a walking event. The cut off will be enforced at the race director’s discretion.
Venue and Registration:
The Race HQ is Ryde Rowing Club, eastern end of Ryde Esplanade beyond the eastern end of Ryde Boating Lake. Post Code PO33 1ND, ///years.nuns.valley
The Rowing Club is 20 minutes walk along Ryde esplanade from the pier, where the foot passenger ferries from Portsmouth land.
Changing and Shower facilities and secure bag storage available.
Pay & Display parking available at the venue.
Safety Note:
For safety reasons the use of in-ear (or over ear) headphones is NOT permitted. In accordance with England athletics guidelines, bone conducting headphones are allowed.
For safety reasons, runners are NOT permitted to run with dogs.

Travel:
From the mainland, Ryde is served by both the Portsmouth/Ryde Wightlink Catamaran and the Southsea/Ryde Hovertravel Hovercraft, both run at least an hourly service.

The 09:15 Fast Cat or 09:30/10:00 Hover craft is advised, to avoid last minute queues at registration, bag drop and toilets.
The Rowing Club is a 20 minute walk to the eastern end of Ryde Esplanade.
Concessionary rate travel on Ferries may be offered by Wightlink, details will be provided on entry.
Pay & Display parking is available along the north and south sides of the canoe lake, and in Appley car park (accessed via the canoe lake).
Awards:
Women Overall, U20 and 10 year vet categories. Teams of 3.
Men Overall, U20 and 10 year vet categories. Teams of 3.
Souvenir for all finishers.
Presentation will take place at the race HQ at approximately 13:30 to 14:00
Requests to amend results will be considered up to 3 days after the race. Requests to change an entry type from Unaffiliated to Affiliated, must be made before the day of the race.
The Course:
The START is located on the edge of Appley Park ///engage.album.shapes, just above the FINISH in Appley Park ///humans.doll.insert.
The course is undulating throughout, and consists of two laps, covering Ryde, Bullen Lane, Goddard’s Farm Lane, Attrill’s Lane (off tarmac gravel track), Nettlestone, back to Bullen Lane for the start of the next lap, Goddard’s Farm Lane through to Whitefield Woods (short bridleway section), Carpenters Road, St. Helens, back along gravel track to Goddard’s Farm Lane, Appley and back to Ryde.
Marker boards at each mile point.
Water stations are located at approximately 3 Mile intervals, at the following distances (2m, 6m, 7.5m, 9.5m & 11m)
No littering outside the water stations.
The course is not suitable for wheelchairs, due to off-road terrain.
